The Farming GT is a autonomous weeding robot that can save up to 100 % of herbicides and manual weeding labor. It distinguishes crops from weeds using a AI-driven camera and removes weeds with mechanical tools in the inter-row and in-row area. The AI of the Farming GT can reliably recognize the stems of over 60 types of crops, day and night, even in extreme weed pressure conditions. It has a very precise control of its knives to remove weeds as close as possible to the crop. The Farming GT operates without supervision, day and night, with a maximal output of 10 ha in 24 h. It uses a hybrid power supply (diesel and battery) giving it an autonomy of over 30 h.
