One hackathon, four robotics challenges!
Co-organized by
The Grand Défi de la Robotique Agricole - GRDA is a France 2030 program supporting the deployment of robotic solutions in fields to advance the agricultural transition. The hackathon is fully aligned with the 2nd objective by empowering the designer community to program faster and more efficiently. After a promising 1st edition, the Hackathon GRDA is back with exciting challenges!
3 key objectives
Helping sectors to test and evaluate the potential of robotics
Assisting manufacturers in accelerating their market deployment
Supporting agricultural development to create and implement new practices based on robotics
Empowering the designer community to program faster and more efficiently
In a limited time, your task is to:
Weed a field,
Avoid moving and stationary obstacles,
Pass through a shed,
Climb a slope to reach the finish line.
Precise agricultural tasks
Obstacle avoidance
Following a path in a sloping field
Indoor navigation
Every challenge deserves recognition for its participants:
A final phase on an international stage FIRA 2025 is an incredible opportunity to bring together experts in agricultural robotics. What better place to invite the top three teams from the preliminary phase? For two days, teams will refine their strategies and code using the physical simulator provided by our partner 4D-Visualiz. The hackathon's progress and ambitions will be showcased at the Scientific Seminar on February 4, 2025, and the winners will be announced during the FIRA Awards.
