SFCOLAB is a Portuguese collaborative laboratory with the mission to boost Digital Innovation in Agriculture by developing integrative, inclusive and affordable cutting-edge high-tech solutions for the agro-sector, in particular for small- and medium-farm systems, to answer for specific questions, needs and issues raised by the sector. Aware of the need for the democratisation and the literacy in Agriculture 4.0 (Ag 4.0) for a better adoption of digital technologies within productive sector, SFCOLAB‘s strategy focus on both i) developing customised digital solutions, and on ii) providing the specialised technical support for implementing and recommending the best management practices, with the ultimate goal to promote more sustainable production systems.
