“Paysan du Midi” is a regional agricultural and local news weekly, more specifically dedicated to the departments of Aude, Hérault and Gard. In 2008, it joined forces with L’Agriculteur provençal (13), then relaunched En Pays varois (83) in 2017, after a year’s non-publication. All these newspapers are now united under the Pressagrimed company, which also publishes a regional online press service: pressagrimed.fr.
To meet the challenges facing the agricultural world, it raises awareness and mobilizes its community of readers around problems specific to the Occitanie region, as well as national and international issues. Dedicated to the various Mediterranean sectors: viticulture, arboriculture, market gardening, etc., it offers thematic features throughout the year: irrigation, spraying, energy, etc., where innovation plays a central role.
