Start-Up Pitch Session

From early prototype stage to Series A funding, take part in the unique Start-Up Pitch session focused on Agricultural Robotics and Autonomous Systems for farming!

The shortlist of the setected start-ups is out!

After the call for pitches ending November 30th, 12 start-ups will present their project to potential investors during World FIRA 2024 on February 6th, 2024.

During their 10-minute pitch (including Q&A), they'll get the opportunity to present their solution and business model to VCs, corporate ventures and business angels. This is also a chance to compete for the World FIRA Start-Up Awards 2024!

Each pitch session will only be accessible to authorized investors.

Criteria:

  • Robotics solutions for farming only
  • Level of maturity
    • Must be a post prototype - we welcome early stage companies, but you must have a version of your system already built in order to be considered.
    • Must be relatively early stage from an investment standpoint - your company is ineligible to compete if your company has already raised over € 10M in dilutive funding.
  • The pitch will take place on February 6th, 2023 in Auzeville-Tolosane, near Toulouse (France)

The agricultural robots market is projected to grow from USD 13.5 Billion in 2023 to USD 40.1 Billion by 2028, at a CAGR of 24.3%. The World FIRA Awards 2024 Four categories rewarding the best robots and robot manufacturers will be announced at the World FIRA during this ceremony. The " Ag Robot of the Year " - farmers' choice: Award for the best robot currently on the market, presented by Future Farming, and selected from the robots featured in the Ag-Robot Buying Guide 2024 The " Best Start-up " - investors' choice: prize for the most promising start-up in terms of investment, awarded by the jury of World FIRA investors (Capagro, Rabobank and Fulcrum Capital) following the pitch sessions on February 6 at 2:00 pm. The "Best World FIRA Robot" - participants' choice: The robots exhibiting at World FIRA that received the most votes from participants in the dedicated voting box, awarded by World FIRA: gold, silver and bronze medals. "Hackathon Grand Défi Award
